Viva Vigan! Happy Fiesta!

It has been a part of our traditions to celebrate feasts.People of Vigan celebrate Vigan Fiesta every 25th of January. We celebrate it in many ways like attending masses, watch different students dance on the streets and watching or attending the grand parade.

In the celebration of the feast, I and my school mates joined the longganisa festival street dancing competition. It was fun and luckily, we got fourth place. And at the day of Vigan Fiesta, I and my fellow CAT officers attended the grand parade. We, the color guards, marched in front leading the rest of the people attending the parade. After that, I decided to go home and take a rest because it is tiring to march in there with full effort.

It has been fun celebrating Vigan Fiesta. Thanks God for that another opportunity to celebrate. I hope that there will we more years to come and more Vigan Fiestas.

Reflection

In third grading period, I have learn more html tags. I learned how to put pictures on html files and to make the picture as background to make it more beautiful. I noticed that I am not doing my works on time like posting on my blog. This fourth Grading Period, I am hoping that I will have enough time to accomplish my works.

My New Year's Eve

New year is what we're waiting for and there are so many reasons why. Maybe, to watch beautiful, bright and colorful firewoks and bonding with family.
Waiting for the count down, my familiy and I had a dinner. New year's count down will not be enjoyable for me without fireworks because it is boring just ssitting down and watching my neighbors lighting fireworks. I also spent my vacation lighting fireworks with my friends until New year;s eve. I enjoyed lighting piccolo, five star, whistle bomb, and flying frireworks.
My new year's eve was enjoyable. I can't wait to have another. Thanks God for that another year and for the seventh year of lighting firewoks, I still have ten fingers in my hands.

The Essence of Christmas

Christmas is the birth of Christ, our savior who saved us from sin because of love. It is the time for sharing, giving and loving.
Many Filipinos are used to prepare Christmas by buying gifts, foods and decorations but the essence of Christmas is not about giving gifts and putting Christmas decorations in house. Christmas is not only about giving gifts, it is also about giving love. Jesus loves us and all he wants is to love each other. Giving love is the true essence of Christmas.
